Strategic Planning and Its Effect on Public Service Quality
Abstract
Strategic planning is a critical tool for improving the quality of public services by ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently, objectives are clearly defined, and performance is monitored systematically. This study investigates the effect of strategic planning on public service quality through an empirical analysis of government organizations. Findings indicate that organizations with formal strategic plans, effective implementation, and continuous performance monitoring exhibit significantly higher service quality levels. The study emphasizes the importance of managerial capacity, stakeholder engagement, and governance in enhancing the effectiveness of strategic planning initiatives.
