Analysis of the impact of Digital Transformation in the Financial Sector on the Efficiency of Commercial Banks in Iraq

Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of digital transformation in the financial sector on the efficiency of commercial banks in Iraq. The research was applied to a sample of Iraqi banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange. The mixed statistical method was used and a qualitative model of digital transformation and a quantitative model of bank efficiency were developed and tested using correlation and structural modeling. The research reached several conclusions that digital transformation reflects positively on the bank efficiency as it contributes to developing banking operations and improving the accuracy of transactions in addition to the quality of service provided.
