Abstract

This research explores the potential of blockchain technology to improve supply chain traceability and mitigate the proliferation of counterfeit drugs within the pharmaceutical industry. The study designs and evaluates a blockchain-based prototype system, assessing its capabilities in ensuring data integrity, transparency, and real-time tracking of pharmaceutical products from manufacturing to patient delivery. The findings will highlight the technical feasibility, security benefits, and operational challenges of implementing blockchain solutions to enhance patient safety and supply chain integrity in a critical sector.
