Abstract

This research investigates the relationship between literature and empathy, focusing on how storytelling has historically inspired social justice movements. By analyzing works from the abolitionist era to contemporary novels addressing systemic inequality, the study demonstrates how literature fosters emotional connections that drive collective action. It argues for the enduring power of fiction as a catalyst for societal change.
